How safe is PayPal when you sell items?

I was thinking about how safe it was to use PayPal because people can just chargeback and that is a huge problem. Is there a way to prevent chargebacks or make PayPal safer?

Its just the risk you take when using PayPal. Nothing you can do besides maybe having them screenshot the transaction after but thats even slim.

Have them type in the note that they are buying a digital item and are void of all buyer protection.

^^Either do what Nibsz said or just try to use crypto instead, since there is no way they can chargeback it. I would recommend coinbase or Bitpay

People can easily just buy crypto with their paypal to do the trade, on coinbase for example the fee to buy btc or etherium is slim to none. So if the seller is willing to lower the price by a dollar that would make up for the fees of them buying it.
