Alright guys it's me again back from the dead;

Was my birthday recently and have got nothing to spend the money on so I though I'd look at my PC and see what I can do, specs are as follows (self-built):

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200
MB: MSI B350M Pro-VDH
RAM: 1x8gb Crucial (2400mhz?)
GPU: Nvidia 1050ti 4GB SC
PSU: 450BT EVGA

I understand that CS is a CPU intensive game and I wanted to know whether upgrading my CPU would be the best bet or not? Currently get inconsistently around like 150 and consistently above 100.

I was planning to go for the Ryzen 5 2600 but thought I might aswell ask.

Yes, I realised 450W is less than ideal but they're not too expensive so that's not the point right now.

Please only comment if you have some level of experience with this.

Thanks guys.

Yes let me just replace my whole motherboard and CPU for a minimal gain.
Appreciate the comment but looking for an upgrade not a remake.
Hmm, I don't know if I am outdated or what. I only play counter strike gocompetitive matchmaking, most of the time I just cap my fps at 60. All settings at low. Not really sure if you are like playing the zombies mods or something else.

Ultimately maybe is see what you are trying to archieve, if just for csgo stable fps might as well drop it. I doubt that change will make any difference.. But maybe you wanna stream or do something else 2600 seems like a good choice. Personally using it right now so far so good for both streaming while gaming. Or you could upgrade your GPU seems abit below average not sure what is trending right now but rx480 is pretty good :D.

Yeah all my stuff is on low, I have 144Hz monitor so 144+fps is important for me, thanks for your comments will check out your suggestions!

You don't need to focus on upgrades. Have you done the regular fps boosting such?

Lowering setttings and in nvida. CPU Core Steam App. Editing the game smokes and shaders. The typical commands fps_max_0, ect. And the in-depth one?
