How should I set up ranks?

Hi, Viking here.

I'm looking to set up premium ranks on my Factions PVP server. I don't want to make it pay to win and ruin the player experience but I still want to incentivize people to donate.

Is there a silver lining?

It's definitely possible...
Of course there are effect plugins that add trails and such to a player.
Perhaps access to /nick without color
Then /nick with color?

Yea like MuchDan said, there is quite a lot you can still do without having to make it pay to win.

I am not a pvp'er and have barely played factions, but I would think some ideas could be:

- What about personal time and weather command as perks for higher donation ranks?
- Do you have an auction house? you can have higher donation ranks have more slots in the auction house?
- What about even tags? Some people like tags, others don't.
- Player vaults - have more vaults for higher donation ranks?
- Home sets are always handy - higher donation people can set more homes.
