Yeah I agree, as soon as I realised I was a fiend for the cube I’ve tried moderating myself and spending more time focusing on bettering myself. Already have a girlfriend now and I’m not gonna lie, I think quitting has made that happen.

I might be wrong, but there are literally hundreds of millions of people out there that experience the same problem.
The problem is not that you're using the Internet, play games or whatever you used to do.
The problem is that most users don't really limit themselves. I had the same problem once, I either went crazy and stayed at home almost all day and played or I just went outside and didn't even touch my PC for weeks.

You have to find a good balance, it really helps to exercise and eat healthy.
It can also help to ask yourself if you really need the thing you are doing right now, or if you could do something better with your time. Dont get me wrong: I wouldn't say that playing Video Games is a waste of time, it's simply entertainment, but if it is the only thing you are doing it's nothing special anymore and can feel more like a curse. Just let the following quote sink in and think about it
"The internet used to be an escape from reality, now reality is an escape from the internet"

It’s fine in moderation, in my personal opinion 1-2 hours a day max. You should only play when you’re bored and there’s nothing else to do, a substitute for TV or Netflix. I’ve browsed over this forum and I’ve seen a lot of people who seem to spend all day on here and don’t even make use of what the forum is for. They need to make a change and instead of talking to people on here they need to go speak to people in real life. It’s very unhealthy and they won’t get much out of life if they carry on. I think you should take everything away like pc, Netflix etc and then slowly introduce them back into your life when the time is right.

I agree that it is unhealthy - but it's definitely not the right way to force somebody to stop using it.
You should only change something if YOU want it, not because somebody ELSE thinks it is bad for you. The only thing you can do is spread awareness and recommend it to others, as long as you're not pushy.[DOUBLEPOST=1592920521][/DOUBLEPOST]And also don't forget that many users make money on this Forum.
There is a difference between work and wasting time.

Completely understand that people make money here and that's fair enough if you do. However, a lot of people don't. They make a few dollars here and there but for the amount of time people spend on here they would be better off getting a part-time job. It's completely their choice but I'm just giving my experience.
