How to advertise a YT?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows off a way to start a Channel to gain subs?

I am going to work on it, but was wondering a good way to get people noticed, like posting links on forums or like recording on a certain server or what.

You basically do live streams until you get enough subs. Also do giveaways, etc.
What texture pack do you use?

I use aload of PvP packs and in that video I this it's Emu v2 Danteh.
Why livestreams and don't giveaways get loads of unactive subs?

Well then there's your answer; time. Thinking of new ideas takes time. You have to remember that people aren't interested in things that have already been done, for example - generic PvP videos. Pretty much all large Youtubers are big because they did something new and unique, which gained them an audience as their content was interesting.
