Crosshair placement:
Keep editing like you are but make sure you practice with the crosshair placed in the same place for the same situations, like for example after editing your stair, after you dragged your mouse to half edit it, make sure your crosshair is always in the same place after, and basically same thing with your wall. (For better practice with this, try editing slowly at first, then gradually speed up but dont rush yourself)
Cosmetics (personal pref):
Try a less distracting harvesting tool / smaller. This is why the default pickaxe is used so often, which is because its simple and makes little noise, meaning you can focus more on your editing Like i said this is personal preference but a tip is a tip.
Movement:
I cant really tell judging off of this one clip, though if you're holding "W" without pressing "A" when editing the stair, you can find yourself run into the stair which can fuck up your camera and put you off.
Environment:
I can't judge off of this clip again, though practice using some edit courses, rather than building the course yourself. With edit courses, if you do them multiple times, they will get repetitive meaning more practice in specific game standard edits like the one you previewed. The repetitive practice helps improve something called "Muscle Memory" which is when you do a specific exercise over and over again until your arm is used to doing the specific task that it comes naturally (This should help with your stutters and basically meaning you wont have to think about every time you edit and it's rather something you'd do normally)
hope this helped - if u need some edit course codes, pm me and ill help out
