How to get a Community

My question is how do servers get a intial community. Like the first 5-15 players that are constantly on. This is my #1 problem at the moment. I run a faction PVP server that is pretty unique. But what i have learned is that being unique doesn't mean jack, i have seen countless generic shit faction servers instantly gain a player base of 30+ players and my server stays 0/100. I have a clean chat, no lag, nice website, decently nice banner. The works! and yet i sit here with no players. I also pay for advertising and see little to no results. I'am on the right on topg and the #1 server on minecraft.vote.

PMC does not help what so ever... The people i get from there just ask for staff and if i say no they leave.

So any server owners that overcame this problem please help us little guys out!

You gotta get some YouTubers if you really wanna bang :/. Honestly rn your server seems to not have much advertising so get some YouTubers and/or slots.

Do youtubers actually work cause I defiantly have the budget to get some. And do you have any websites where a slot is worth buying?

Minecraft MP, .org, MCSL are the good ones. And for YouTubers just look around McM and you can get some nice ones.
