Hey!

I have tried tons of things but I couldn't get a bigger player-base. I have a hub/network with 4 gamemodes.

-Skywars
-Economy Factions
-Prison
-1v1/Duels

I made server promotions, got a cool looking banner for minecraft server lists, got YOUTUBER, it's just not working

Anyone got better ideas to get a bigger player base.

Well first off, you want to make sure your server is something the players could be happy with. It should be unique and interesting. You could always advertise to attempt to get more players, but you have to make it so if a player joins the server, they wouldn't just leave 2 minutes later but actually stay. And you are building up your playerbase from there. Once you made sure players would actually stay on your server, advertise some more. If you have money to spare, get youtubers with a fair amount of subscribers and people who actually watch their videos. You could also buy slots on different advertising sites such as topg. If you are short a bit, you could always just rent it out for a cheaper price than buying the whole thing.

I'm going to be 100% honest with you. Over the years of me and friends making multiple servers let me tell you what the end result is. 100% custom, unique, fun unless you pay for advertisement you're fucked. Sorry to break it to ya.

Literally post it on every voting site ever made, if you have a good community people will stay, as they'll want to be part of it. PM me IPs (who knows, maybe I'll stay)

Hi there!

Note: This is based on personal experience. Take it for whatever you feel it's worth :)

First off, you say you have a network with 4 servers. Whenever you start up a server brand, always start micro. I've found that having multiple servers with a small community can break up said community, throwing player to player interaction out the window. I recommend finding the server players enjoy the most, and sticking to that one. Only when you have a constant flow of players, and they request new games/gamemodes, should you create a network. As it seems now, you don't have as many players as you want. Cutting down on your servers will greatly cut down costs, and allow you to put your money into other means of advertising. Not only should you think about community interaction, you want to think about what the players want. With three of the four servers, they seem pretty generic in the sense of the gamemode(no offense). Think of a unique idea you could add to those generic gamemodes, and expand upon it. Doing this make create an addiction for players and you may begin to notice an increase in your playerbase.

To summarize, start out micro: find the server players enjoy most, and expand upon it.
Save your money for other means of advertising, do special community events, and find a unique idea that you can add to your current gamemodes.

I hope this helps. If you have questions, or want any more advice/want me to elaborate on previous statements, ask! :)
