How to get the latest EssentialsX Messages

Hello,

So obviously essentialsX is now into play and they've updated essentials so much they've added new commands new things to have in config and I was wondering if anyone knows how I can get the latest Message.properties

Now I have the old message.properties from essentials old website. But now I need essentialsX latest updated text.

If you don't mind to tell me how I can retrieve this it would be very much appreciated!

Remove both plugins + files from the server, do a full restart. Add EssentialsX in again (just the plugin file) and it should defaultly make all .yml/.properties files.

Are you meaning add essentialsX jar? And it'll come up with the file and inside the file has everything?

Yes the .jar. When you add a plugin into a server and launch it the server creates all the necessary files with it too.

For convenience save copies of everything before removing it as backup.

Hmm, that's usually always been how I got fresh config files.

I can take a look tomorrow possibly.

And that's what the main author told me before. But it didn't work before and still does not work now. I get a new essentials file just not the message.properties inside it.

I'll do some searching tomorrow to figure out the issue.

If you download messages.properties and place in in the essentials folder it should work.

Ummm... I've never done that before so I have absolutely no clue what you mean. Is there a video tutorial on that?

Take the jarfile, extract it in Winrar if you use windows, or as a zip file if you use a mac, then open the folder it creates, take the english locale out, and put it in your essentials folder
