How to have less scammers solution

Let everyone create a marketplace but put it under Verification, before it will get approved you have to give as much proof as you can that you own the account, such as launcher, popular server etc. Then a mod has to approve it???

This wouldn't stop scamming.

Almost everyone's smart enough to know what inspect element is. More people get fooled by in-game/launcher proof, but due to the recent launch of MClaim, there's no need to provide other types of evidence.

I advised leaking their IP's, but of course that got declined.

I meant handling it in a serious way.
Leaking an IP still wont stop them, they are all on VPNs because most of their accounts are banned on here.


If some of us take a few of these scammers to court or something, we can catch them.
A lot of dumb scammers do things over skype, and you know Microsoft knows everything about you.

Stop being ignorant children would be a good place to start. Follow up by contacting law enforcement, not a bunch of kids who think they're scam and business experts.

The forums could create their own escrow transaction system similar to Sellfy where people buy and sell directly on the site. Although it may not directly prevent scamming, it would make proving a bad transaction much easier. If someone sold a bad file on purpose, the scammed buyer would have a better standing in court since mcm would have proof of the transaction and its conditions in their database. It's safer than personal transactions, as the only proof most people have are sketchy skype message logs

you know what would really help against scamming? providing knowledge of how scammers operate to every person that joins this site. it will force the scammers to constantly come up with new methods, keeping the amount of successful scams to a minimum.

Scammers and real sellers often do the same things for trades some methods just don't get followed through with when money is being transferred around. Saying a person must be a scammer if they do x,y, or z is just illogical. Nobody is going to trust anybody.
Also buyers try to scam to so playing a stereotype game won't solve much.
