How to light up my Warzone?

Hello, I've got a question.

I'd like to light up my Warzone however I'm currently struggling on a way to achieve this.

I've used plugins such as LightSource & LightAPI - However it makes the Warzone looks abit weird for example, you have lots of dark shadows around the map and bright light making a contrast and does not look nice at all on the top of the map.

Is their any sort of techniques to use? Because at night the Warzone can get extremely dark and I have no idea how to light it up so it doesn't ruin the look of the warzone.

TBH, the simplest way is to just scatter torches around your WarZone. Sounds stupid, but a brilliant idea.

Maybe add glowstone under leaves? Not sure though

If you have glass you can place glowstone or torches under it, or make lights.
