You don’t make one.
Let me elaborate...
I know that there are already a lot of people who talk about this (probably), but I'm going to be sharing my experience being in service companies, seeing service companies and owning real companies.
1. Funds
First of all, you may think that service companies don't require any money because either 1. your team will do all the work like logos, bots, etc. for you, or 2. It's commission based so why would I need any money?
In any company (service or real), you need funds, even if you think you don't, that's why you don't see 1 million companies blowing up every day. Although some companies rely mainly on unique ideas, this barely applies, because every service company is just a clone no matter what you try. Money is needed for a few things such as logos, bots, advertisement*, etc. And you have to understand that your team members are not your slaves. You will have to pay them because although they 'work for you' they don't have to listen to you, because as I said before every service company is a clone, and they can just move on to the next, or just make 100% of their profits by becoming a solo freelancer. Also, you won't be making any money. If you would like to stand out, you need to make your prices cheap (or try to make your team cheap), and the widely used commission is 80-90% which means that your sales rep will be given 10-20%, which means you will either steal money from your freelancers who did all the work or take 5-10% from the sales rep who barely did anything. If you take 5-10 you will be getting close to nothing and you will probably be making your team (sales reps) mad.
2. Reputation
Literally, no service company (unless you are a successful one who was made a long time ago), has a good reputation. This may not be your fault, as it is mostly your sales rep, but you are the one who is supposed to be telling them what to say etc. The mostly used way to get sales is to spam every service request thread. This is the most unprofessional way to get sales and the only people who would go for it are people who are mainly naïve. I’m not trying to shit on those consumers, but I recommend that they really try to do more research. There’s almost no way to make it in my opinion.
I imagined this to be way bigger than it is, but I’ll probably add more later. In conclusion please DO NOT make a new service company, because it’s insanely saturated. Also if you don’t agree with me, don’t negative rep me, just shit on me here
.
