I'm sure a lot of people on this site will follow the same general line of work...
But, the fields that I've dabbled in are...
Owning Minecraft servers (and, servers for other games, too)
Offering digital services (setups, development, builds, gfx, illustration, etc)
Investing (stocks, crypto, forex, etc)
Merchandise/clothing lines
Dropshipping
Selling digital products (eBooks, non-exclusive builds/servers/plugins, etc)
Running ads on (their) (large) social media accounts
Patreon, GitHub sponsors, etc
A lot, if not, all of what's above can be handled on this site. However, there are other sites for this.
For freelancing, there's Upwork, Fiverr, Guru, Freelancer, etc
For merch, there's printful, spreadshirt, etc
For digital products, there's sellfy, selly, etc
The list goes on, a simple google search will help!
And, the list would go on! What a lot of people don't think about is that you need to fill the void, or offer a solution to a problem in order to make money online. Many give up because they want overnight, instant results, and don't want to put in the work. If you're willing to actually put time and effort, guides/tutorials/etc can all be found on YouTube for free.
Hope I gave you some helpful insight! I never did all those things at once, however, just what I've done in total! I never want to overwork myself. I'd also recommend reading/watching on how to deal with people, and other things around that, just so you understand a bit more
selling digital shit and making people pay for shit they dont want to read (you do it for them) works well. I have made some good money frome digital goods.
I've actually had no money, a few months ago. 0. It's just about finding the right guy, who you're happy to work for, and they're happy for you to work for them. Some people pay more, some less. I've made some Minecraft Server setups, Discord Bots, websites, etc. for people, and they paid, and I was super happy.
