How to make room cozier / nicer.

So , basically I've been thinking. My room is rather drab, and I want to make it nicer, I'm wondering if you guys have any ideas.

One thing that really pisses me off is that I have textured walls , so I can't do wallpaper, and I'm not allowed to make them smooth or paint them or anything ;/

I'm getting some black out curtains so I can go full vampire and play games in peace during the day, and I'm planning on maybe getting a nice carpet.

I'm thinking some posters could be cool but I live with my strict christian parents, so need weeb shit allowed so that limits my options by a ton >:/

Does anyone else have any ideas ?

I might get some to do some ambient lighting under my desk or something, not a hugeeeee fan though.
I want to get like a wood butcherblock type desk too, but those cost like $200, and it isn't my #1 priority

Oof, I want a minifridge but my christian parents don't approve of energy drinks so what would I put in there
also aren't minifridges decently loud? I have like, only ssds, be quiet! fans , etc so my setup is pretty quiet, don't want the hum of a minifridge tbh

I got 4 loud ass fans all over my room must be nice having a quiet place. My family is also christian but my parents are in jail and I do what I want because i'm the one who has to live with it.

Yeah I'd get a beanbag too, though my room's really tiny, prolly tinier thank yours rip. The huge mistake in my room is the paint. I wanted a dark room, so i chose a black-gray, but the painters told me to choose a light colour cause they claim the paint will become darker, but apparently that didnt happen and the paint became LIGHTER, and now my walls look baby blue, unless there's only sunlight coming through the windows without any light turned on. Rip

Imma send a pic of the room in an hour, lets all do that

Here's a virtual shot of my room. Sent two as one didn't cover up the whole room. (Attached 2)

The wall with the door is marble textured, and I just got this new bedsheet which looks sick, and yeah theres a google home mini lying at the corner of my bed, but a table would be better. There's barely any space for a side table on the side of my bed, even if I push my bed to the left so it's touching the wardrobe. Ignore the chairs, they're not from my room, we just came from vacation so room's not completely tidied up yet.

You can see how small my room is, all the other rooms are bigger, mine is at one corner of the flat. You'd also see I'm tryna go with the black theme but wall colour is very light and mom got me a very expensive table, the brown one, which I really dont want lol. Mom aldo wanted to give me a huge cupboard for clothes lmao, but i preferred smth smaller, especially cuz the room was small so got a wardrobe. The black table will be my pc setup hopefully lol, i got em rgb lights but wont setup until pc arrives. Please suggest me changes to make to MY room
