Please NOTE: Before you start reading this tutorial requires some basic knowledge of Photoshop and C4D it also requires those two programs.

Hello, boys and girls today I will be making the complete guide on how to master Minecraft graphics from noob to advanced. I hope you find this thread useful and if you do feel free to give me positive reputation or even donate!

I suggest using C4D for your render because it's easier to use and has the biggest collection of Minecraft related rigs e.t.c

What lightrooms do I recommend?
I recommend Aethers Render Pack (includes some Photoshop goodies) or this amazing free alternative Nathan's Lightroom V3 or this free Lightroom GradeFX Lightroom V2.

What rigs do I recommend?
I recommend you use Anishwij Rig V9 it costs 25$ but is the best buy you can do, or you can use a cheaper alternative CLICK or this free rigs which could also work CLICK CLICK. Of course, there are ways to find these rigs for free, but you have to figure that out by yourself :p

About extruding!
What is extruding? With extruding you make your characters look more 3D and have more depth. This might not be known to some people but it really improves your graphics and makes them look way better!

About posing!
You want your renders to look interesting, don't you? Then look no further here are some of the best tutorials on how to "pose" your characters in some of the best ways possible!

About the 3D text!
There are a lot of great tutorials to teach you how to make some amazing 3D text here are some of my all time favourites!

- Photoshop -
(going to add more stuff later)

In Photoshop you can make your render look way better and do some amazing lighting effects!

There are ways to get it for free.. Not trying to promote piracy but 99% of the people that have C4D didn't buy it.
Yea, I made my profile through a C4D free trial. Like I had 2 months to use it before expiring. This thread would have saved a lot of time if it was posted sooner.

I've argued for almost an hour on the topic of C4D. I do not support piracy in any way whatsoever so I don't use C4D.
I do understand that most (basically all) graphic designers use C4D but you really don't NEED to. Now you will get a better quality but you can still make amazing Minecraft graphics using something else. For example Blender (basically your only other great option).
Here is a graphic designer who used to make MC graphics but recently quit and he used Blender.

He has tutorials for Blender as well.

This sentence is mostly true. I find Blender easy to use after a week or 2 but C4D does have a bigger Minecraft community so if you can't rig or can't find a rig for Blender there would probably be one on C4D to be honest.
Sorry for basically hijacking the thread but wanted to say that Blender is still a good option over C4D.

I've known shaduu for some time he is really good at using blender, but he said that there are not a lot of rigs/stuff for blender and that's why a lot of times he ends up modelling stuff by himself or being limited to some ideas. He tried to switch over C4D, but he found it hard because he is used to blender.

I followed him on and off. I didn't know he tried to switch over to C4D.
He does rig things by himself but normally he releases those rigs for us to use. But you are completely right there are not a lot of rigs. I struggle a lot when trying to find rigs but I end up managing to do it. Most people if they try can use Blender.
