How to not get scammed when buying account?

Hey I'm new here. I'm not really into trading/reselling accounts. I just want to buy a minecon cape account. Any tips of how to not get scammed and is there a way once the account email has been transferred and password has been changed for the seller to pull back the account? Any tips from experienced traders are highly appreciated.

a) always use a middleman, if they have any excuse to not to use one then dont buy it
b) email unchangeable accounts have risks being pulled from dispute links/the email itself gets pulled
c) make sure the account doesnt have too many owners having the tid, your best bet is to buy from someone who is reputable and wont lie about the info about the account

You can buy account from people that have high number of reputations (10 and up) and avoid people who are inconsistent with their details or information about the account. If someone scams you, hopefully not, you are able to open a scam report via MCM, where the dispute can be settled using a moderator of the forum. Also, if someone undersells their accounts, there's probably a high chance of them being fraudulent.
