How to raise $100

Hey,
I have a minecraft server that has been dragging on in its dev. since last October, I have decided that I am going to raise $100 to cover the cost of graphics, xenforo (second hand license), web design and a few others.

Please don't tell me to go and get a job because first of all, I am busy with school, exams soon. Also I don't think there is much chance a 16 yr old will get hired over qualified people needing jobs for money to live. I would like you to give me some ideas of what I can do otherwise.

I'm no good at building, graphics, have tried plugin coding, i can do basic but nothing worth paying for yet. I'm suppose I could make basic plugins, like basic basic where you type a command and it broadcasts a message like the emotions plugins. I have no vouches though so I doubt anyone would buy even if it was a dollar

I just wish mcmarket had a method of security when trading because many people like me aren't scammers, it's just inconvenient. Wouldn't it be a good idea to deposit $10 or something to mcmarket to hold and they will take it and ban you if you scam ?

Please help me with some ideas

No offense but if you're too busy to get a job, how do you have enough time to make and run a server?

Because I can spend lots of time developing my server and running my server at night at weekends. I realise with the UK being how it is, and the difficulty of getting a job at 16, I'm 16 myself but a lot of people I know have gotten jobs with local companies and at least half my year group has a job, and I only live in a small town. I've not got one personally because I make money other way, mainly buying and sell things in bulk.

Since you're from the UK and 16 I'm presuming these exams are GCSE's which dependant on exam boards have already started, so if I was you I'd worry more about revision rather than making a server, I'd wait till after because you have a long summer so more time to work on it. Albeit I can't say anything about revision as I struggle to do so myself.

What you're doing is like what I was going to be like with my eSports teams, but for now the teams are just practising and nothing serious until 22nd June, day after the final exam for me. I have already messed up my computing coursework. I don't there is much point trying anymore...

No lol, I have heard of that one but we have been doing one piece (a python programming) where we have to make an encryption program that takes user input of a message, then depending on an offset or keyword, it changes the letters in order of the the alphabet. We also do an app (app inventor AI2) if you have ever used scratch, it is like that but for making android phone apps. We had to make an app that shows a university campus map and you select buildings, reserve and cancel reservations of computers there and write a report on it and do testing and all sorts.

I have done really bad at both...

I probably have D or E for them
but I can get B in the exam so the coursework ruined it :'( Maybe my computing teacher will find me tomorrow and help me because unless i get an A/A*, not much chance of the grades leveling out to C/B

I was going to school and working a full time job at first and having time to work on my a server parts of the night and weekends. Just curious why you "can't get a job". I just believe it's laziness.. And that $100 would be basically nothing if you had a job.

Anyway, good luck, you'll need more than $100 for a server though..

You say you don't have time but consider it. I got a job at 17 at a fast food restaurant working just a bit during the week and on weekends. I made about $250 a week which I then used to launch my first business. It was a bit stressful but easily worth it

We was meant to do App Inventor but our technicians didn't know how to make it work and spent 3 months trying to figure it out, and after 3 minutes I said they needed Chrome but I got ignored, and the Python one you are so lucky you aren't doing ours.

All of the teachers say that it needs to get posted though, like the ones who get picked. The teachers say they put in all the marks to the exam board then they pick a few random students and want their work to be moderated so it has to be sent off. I really wish i did have until Friday. Did you say you were doing app inventor ?
