How to reduce mobs? NEED HELP ASAP

Hey,
I am writing this thread because my server is set mode "Easy" but for some reason it still spawns TONS of mobs and it gives people with no armor no chance. So i was wondering if anyone knew how to reduce mobs around the world but make it so it don't effect spawners spawning mobs. Thanks

Try playing with this in your bukkit.yml.

You can actually use ClearLag's built in Mob Limiter if you already have that installed. I use it and it works great for my factions server with a huge map.
