How to reset a Prison Server using PEX

Looking for some advice to how to reset a prison server that uses PermissionsEX I want to restore all players who are Z rank to rank A but also cant delete all the user files because of the donors. Any advice is helpful thank you!

Haven’t used PEX in ages but IIRC you can bulk edit the prison ranks thru Notepad++

Alternatively you can re-run the buycraft purchases for ranks.

I would say use find all and go down the list (B-Z) to replace each permission back to A.

Yoda doesnt that cause people who have chargedback their donor ranks to have their ranks back from the buycraft resending?

Shouldn't buycraft should account for that

I think you need manually change their rank, replace all B-Z to A. It'll only takes like 5 minutes.

There is many ways in this.

He could do the following


Or he could delete all files and then reset the buycraft ranks as suggested. Buycraft should have a system in to deduct the accounts for charge-backs. If Not you can manually take those accounts off and reset the ranks and re-assign donator ranks

Not if you have hundreds of players. Even doing a replace all still take take even more time if you have prestige’s and rebirths. Also you guys aren’t taking into account the people that have luckperms

The OP is using PermissionsEx

Just use replace all on Notepad++.

Won’t take time depending on that it might be bad if you forget any. Depending on how many rankups you have and prestige’s. Also would probably Want to look over everything once you’re done
