Hello,

I have a dedicated server expiring in a few days, and I'd like to make sure I can keep my website files (specifically the themes). I used Filezilla to get the folders "/ var / www / html" and "/ var / www / domain". Is that all I need or do I need to get other files too?

(domain is my website's domain)

I want to make sure the custom themes I have are there, if not then where can I find them? (my internet is extremely slow and I can't save all the server files even though I want to)

Thank you!

XML files, When you install a theme you don't just upload the files and it starts working, You have to add the .XML file.
Oh, where do I find that? and does it contain anything from the theme or is it just some sort of activator? (as in, if I reinstall Xenforo and apply the theme I saved will it work just like before if I didn't save the .XML file?)

Here' the thing..

Go to FileZilla, Put your login details, make sure you're logged in.
Create a folder
Go to public_html on FileZilla
Copy everything and drag it into the folder you made.

- Go to MySQL -
Make sure you keep the MySQL data always archived as you never know when you need a backup.
Put the same mySQL details and baam ! :)

Also, Don't drag and drop the XF files when you're going to re-install it as it will just pop out errors like "Admin.php" etc or something similar not found.

--- XML Files ---
Even if you backed up everything, Without the XML files they're not going to work. :)
public_html is empty when I open it :(
