What do you guys think? I was just throwing some stuff out there, if you could leave a comment with your opinions maybe I could do a video highlighting them next
Thats when you get a young manager who really wants to learn about servers and has excellent grammar to help you d:[DOUBLEPOST=1536821172][/DOUBLEPOST]are grammar matters? I really want to start my own server but 1 thing I have really shit grammar
Should have add music as it makes an honestly boring video. Your voice is honestly perfect for a Youtuber in fact it sounds like those that clickbait and saying How to get the skull trooper
Well, think of it more as advise to people who are already going to do it d;I don't think u should incourage ppl to its an extreme liabiitliy and only ppl can afford should make one.
I would agree that significantly helps haha.I'm saying ppl shouldn't tbh unless they got funds a guarantee of a playaer base and that it's worth there tine
I don't know how well it would integrate into config files though d:There’s a thing called Grammarly.![]()
Totally agreed, graphics etc are a great and some would say essential way to generate a good playerbase. I've played on a lot of tight nit community servers who aren't able to do that sort of thing and keep around 5 players on them while having larger discord servers. After talking to the owners and doing it myself I decided to make a video highlighting what they did. 5 players isn't going to net you a business anytime soon if at all, but the best way to generate a small community up to about 10 players I believe is creating a lag-free (the ram point), professional looking (the chat point), and a way to bring those 10 recurring players in. Those are defiantly some points I'd like to raise in a larger budget edition video if you are okay with me hijacking some of those d:Good commentary, good tips.
Though, a VPS isn't the only thing needed.
Server setup, art, website, domain, etc. I do find it impossible to start a 'low budget' server (defining low budget as <$100, and that's what most people try and work with). Because you can't get all the needed assets with that amount.
But, the tips on advertising are great.
Yeah, I see your point. I myself don't even consider starting a server unless I have the budget to do so, and that's what I suggest to everyone who plans on it. Sure, starting small works, but it's much much easier to save an extra $50 or $100, and you're setTotally agreed, graphics etc are a great and some would say essential way to generate a good playerbase. I'm speaking more about servers like these - > http://prntscr.com/ku38yv
Then do it. But servers are meant to be a business for most. You're saying that people need to have alot of money and a gaurantee of a playerbase? What if someone just wants to make their own skyblock server and doesn't care for income but does it out of pocket because he's passionate?
