How to stay safe sponsoring Youtube Videos?

Hey mc-market peeps,

I was wondering what is the best way to protect myself from being scammed paying influencers to market my server on their channel.
If I pay a youtuber for example to make a dedicated video on my server with ip in description how do I know he doesn't just block me and never create the video?

Or is there nothing I can do and just have to risk it?

I don't think any youtuber would agree to Goods&Services as a payment metod. Anyone can win g&s chargeback just by putting unauthorized payment and chaning their password.

You can look up for more popular youtubers, that have dont that kind of work before, ask them if you're able to pay 75% before and 25% after or maby some of them agree on 50% upfront since it's easy to just delete the video, but that depends on your budget. Making more then 1 video would give you more chance to 50% upfront. You could say that you might buy more later if this ones goes good. There isn't anything much to this, just be carefull who you're choosing.
