Was in a 1.5 year relationship, considering I'm 20, that's a "lasting relationship". Anyhow, I did post this a while ago, looks like I got a fan, but I decided to repost as I saw a sarcastic thread on "how to get a girlfriend".

This applies for literally anything in life, including business/family relationships. Once again, people want what they cannot have. If you are naturally someone that is considered successful in life (can be in any way, shape, or form), you are scarce and set apart from the rest of the average person, which is exactly what people want in ANY kind of relationship, hence some jobs pay more. For example: a heart surgeon

This would get girls interested for a bit but without love and affection the relationship would fail.

As I stated on my original/first post, you do give them love and affection but once in a blue moon and when they truly deserve it. Making your love and affection scarce will make them appreciate and notice those gestures more than if you would do it every single second.

I never said to not be yourself, rather I said the complete opposite. As I stated on my original post, if you truly are a busy/productive/successful person WITHOUT faking it, you will find the right person. It's all about balance. I'm sorry, but if "being yourself" consist of someone that is lazy, messy, non-productive, and overall a person with no ambition then you will never come across women in your life.
