How would I create a '/give <player> <item>' plugin??

I've tried numerous times to create this command, I just don't know how to get the item?

or Material.valueOf(String) if they are inputting the name rather than an ID

You might want to use this thing:
It has a lot of names for items, just make a method that gets the B column value when you enter the right A column.
