Find a good website that teaches things like JAVA and all, it'll some time to learn though.

I'm hoping you haven't learned off codeacademy.
Im sure it has flaws on advanced levels, but seriously there is 0 problem for basic programming.
either explain your grudge or just shut up, acting like you know better without explanation just makes you look like an ass.

Anyway, I'm a Game Design student and know numerous people who learned the basics of multiple languages from it. For instance, learning enough C# to get to grips with Unity and design their own game.
Or get good with HTML,CSS, PhP and Javascript to build websites.

*snort* "mcm developers are better than spigot developers"

TylerOG did not learn from codeacademy, did he now?
Does someone learning the basics of programming from a different source make the aforementioned source invalid? nope.

I don't really see your point here. None of us are claiming that after finishing a codeacademy course you're a fully fledged developer.
Not even most spigot developers can be called such outside the minecraft community.
However, OP asked for starting to learn. Codeacademy is good for getting a feeling on how a language works. After that, there's obviously a far longer path to becoming a proper developer. That does not make the sites invalid as sources of learning to code, it just means they're insufficient in total.

(btw Xemo I have to agree with him, McM devs are definitely not better by default, more the other way around).

Yeah, i guess i just wanted him to start on a more professional manner, and continue to advance, not start when he only has learned the basics, so codeacademy is good for absolute beginners, but advanced concepts and codeacademy is a no-no.
indeed, advanced concepts require specialized tutorials and/or direct feedback.

Most of the Apigot devs I've worked with are shitty and either say they can't do it or just never reply to me - at least on MCM I know that there are quite a few competent ones who can actually code well.
like on McM, there's the shitty devs and the good devs. On McM there's also other categories to be shitty or good in, and on spigot there isn't, really. Its just builds, devs and designers, with devs being the overlarge majority. Their population of devs is simply far larger than ours. This means there's more shitty ones, but also far more skilled ones. You just have to find them.
I probably won't have to remind you of the number of 'developers' on here that operate mostly in Skript.
