Html help: navigation bar doesn't go over full width of screen??

Can someone help me with the following please?

I have made a navigation bar in html and css.
The thing is: I want it over full width and I want it co start from the top.
However, for some reason I can't get this to work.
My navigation bar starts a bit after the top of the website and it isn't over full width.

How can I get this done correctly?​

Could you please paste your code here: https://jsfiddle.net/ (You dont need to do the whole page just the navbar, or if you want you can do that also, with the css too please) because of lack of information
