BIN means "Buy it now". basically if you really want the map the person has made and don't want to start bidding. Mostly because other people might overbid your bid, they contact the builder. Tell them you're prepared to pay the BIN. You don't have to bid, at least if the builder agrees .

Keep in mind that there is a change other people still overbid the BIN.

It's basically a quick buy option.

Hey thinks for the help! I'm new to the mc market and such so if I place a bid how long will that bid stay until I let's say get the build?

The bid stays until the topic is removed or closed. Which is when it's sold. If your bid is the one the builder accepts then the builder contacts you or you contact the builder. And the rest of the deal will be handled from there.
