Hello everyone! We are a brand new Space-Exploration style minecraft server and we are urgently need staffs for our beta release. We are currently seeking Seeking Moderators, System Administrators, Developers, Builders, and 1 Co-Owner.

All Staff Positions are PAID

To apply, please visit: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc1g1zzNETz0EwtGd-Ga-MBJHSj9YI8s39MkHicvjn6CFzXyw/viewform

We are planning a beta release soon, and applications will be closed once we go into beta.

General Concept

In Minecraft, you nearly always wake up inside a world and proceed to do a variety of different game play in that world. It could be creating new builds, exploring new caves, getting out of a prison, fighting or even just surviving. But what would you do if that world was destroyed? Could you find the power within yourself to survive out in space, where you're walking space is limited and you have to rely on others to achieve your goal of simply surviving and flourishing?

Earth, having gone through many years of prosperity and peace, was hit by the Sun prematurely going supernova under very suspicious circumstances. Years prior to this event, humanity had grown into a space-faring race with a number of colonies, and a fleet of starships that hungered for power that only the hydrogen-rich Sun could offer. The Sun was predicted by humanity’s greatest minds to last another five-billion years mere decades prior to the invention of the FTL (faster than light) drive. Many claim, however, that humanity’s greed for power and its impatience in “milking” the Sun of its seemingly limitless supply of hydrogen may have led to its premature supernova, but in any case we will never truly know the cause. Many of these starships were lost in the blast and only two were deemed outside of the reach of the supernova. All was not lost on that apocalyptic day however, as a number of ships managed to escape the blast to form a flotilla encapsulating the only known starbase that the MSF had stationed outside of the blast radius. This station was then renamed “Notch’s Ark” after the creator of the FTL drive, Markus "Notch" Persson.

This starbase would serve a great purpose: to grant a mighty pardon on the doomed human race in this desperate time. “The Ark”, as it had come to be called by its inhabitants, would live on for an entire century despite its expected lifespan of 50 years, continuing to nurture the human race in its time of need, but as the station’s power supplies started to fail, it could no longer sustain human life in the vast numbers which it had previously. Shuttles and starships were evacuated in a massive fleet in the hopes of finding a suitable planet to call home, for their vessels would not last longer than a few decades in deep space on their own. And so the derelict station would forever drift in space, its empty shell a decaying husk of its former glory. The fate of these brave adventurers in their search for a new life after the death of The Ark would remain a mystery for any remaining humans that may be floating out in the expansive frontier of space.

I spent a lot of time completing my application and included many details. I'm excited to join the team, if not I would love to see the server grow and play on it :D

This is a great server with a great concept.
I don't mean to trash the thread, however, forcing applicants to add 200-400 words to a simple question basically forces them to give false information and provide complete BS. Maybe such requirement could be lifted and instead focus on the qualities and skills of each staff member and not "who can type the most amount of words" in a question.

Ayo, CJ, tell me why I didn't finish high school.

Out of curiosity, do you have proof that you're associated with this server? Additionally, why are you asking for 400+ words on your amazon gifts question on this application? Seems slightly out of place.

Curious find -- the description of that video from 2013 matches the one on this thread.
