Or maybe the map in general is just terrible. From what I can see, it's like spammed blocks in every few places. I'd assume VoxelSniper + WorldPainter?

It's really nice, trust me. If you see it in person you'll be impressed. Best PvP map I've ever seen.

That's one of the few good views I've seen. It doesn't seem ideal though to have biomes of opposites types merging without fault however. Fire + Water creates steam, stone, corruption, etc. I just see thing with edges going right into something new. Doesn't make sense to me personally but maybe someone else it does.

First of all... you are in Minecraft.
Second - Power of contrast... I did a special map of those two biomes - Dance of Frost and Fire.
Also can promise you that water will not become steam and stone will not corrupt...
