Today we're announcing some big changes to our account upgrades system!

More features for free users​

Today we’re giving all users access to dark mode! We’ve also introduced an automatic theme switcher based on your device preferences so many of you should’ve already been switched to our dark theme, but if not, you can manually change your theme here. Other features which everyone now has access to include:​

• Change your username once per year
• Upload up to 5 images to the resource carousel (previously 3)
• Transfer resource ownership to others, and receive resource transfer requests
• Upload resource files up to 200MB (previously 100MB)
• Delete your own forum posts, profile posts, and trash your own threads

Retired Premium, Supreme, and name colour purchases​

Until recently account upgrades were the main way that BuiltByBit made money, so we invested heavily into a rank structure with multiple tiers and large benefits to upgrade. Due to the growth of Pro resources and our ads manager this is no longer the case, and so today we’re significantly simplifying our account upgrade offerings from having 17 unique upgrades to now only have Ultimate.​

Everyone who has already purchased Premium, Supreme, or a name colour will of course keep your upgrades forever. The only change is that from today forward it’s no longer possible to buy these upgrades and instead users can receive these perks through an Ultimate subscription.​

Ultimate improvements​

The following new features have been added to Ultimate:​

$5 of Ad credits every month​

Every month that you have Ultimate we’ll give you $5 of credit to spend on promoting your threads or resources in our Ads manager!​

Note that the credits don’t roll over each month and must be spent during the month of your subscription.​

​

Boosted rankings in discovery​

Now that we’ve removed resource bumping the autobumps and reduced manual bump cooldown is no longer a feature.​

To account for this we’re giving all Ultimate members a slight boost in the relevance sorting in resource categories.​

​

Rocket icon next to username​

Receive a fancy Ultimate rocket icon after your username to stand out from the crowd on-site and in our Discord!​

​

Create Stores under different brand names​

If you want to sell with branding other than your BuiltByBit account you can create separate creator pages with their own name and profile decoration.​

This is perfect for large creators with products for multiple platforms or people wanting more separation between business names.​

​

Upload resources up to 500MB​

We’ve significantly increased the file size upload limit from 200MB to 500MB for Ultimate members!​

This has been a widely requested feature that we’re excited to be implementing.​

​

Bypass the 24 hour peer review period​

As an extra layer of protection against unowned content in Roblox we’ve added a 24 hour period where resources are only visible to other creators.​

This has been a huge success so far, so we're expanding it to all other platforms and upgrading to Ultimate will bypass this time for all platforms except Roblox.​

Double the vanity URLs​

Ultimates can now create up to 10 vanity URLs! We’ve also changed these shortened URLs to now expire when your Ultimate does.​

​

Since it’s no longer possible to purchase Supreme it’s of course no longer required before subscribing for Ultimate. The price of Ultimate has been increased to reflect the enhanced value it provides, now priced at $10 per month or $96 per year.​

Twice the price for basically the same features and a 5$ Ad Credit that is worth nothing because every Ultimate member will try to use the credit because you can‘t take it into the next month. But I guess we have a cool rocket now?

Yes that's right. The Supreme features that you have will never be taken away from you even if you buy Ultimate and it later expires
