Hi creators,
Our Easter sale is live! It's not too late to join, I'm gonna ping everyone in an announcement in a couple of hours. So if you haven't already, we recommend that you add your resources to the sale event through your creator dashboard.
In our first week we averaged $944/day in Hytale sales. Since then, things have naturally cooled off and in the past week we've averaged $178/day. We're not worried about this. Everyone expected the launch hype cycle to spike and then settle, and that's exactly what's happened. We're still very confident in the long-term potential of Hytale and the great community being built around it.
Every UGC game takes time to build out its creator ecosystem so if you haven't already, we encourage you to explore creating content for Hytale. Things are more stable now than in those chaotic first days, but it's still early enough to create foundational parts of the server experience. Now's a great time to get in. A few things worth checking out if you are getting started:

We'll go into more detail when V2 becomes stable, but improvements include OAuth2, an OpenAPI specification, scoped (permission-based) endpoints, and re-designed listing endpoints to reduce polling (you no longer have to make individual requests per-resource for the purchases endpoint). Some new endpoints that are already live today on V2 which aren't available in V1 include:

Update on the Hytale ecosystem
We're really proud to have been supporting Hytale from the very beginning. The team behind Hytale are doing incredible things and their pace of improvements has been seriously impressive. In our first week we averaged $944/day in Hytale sales. Since then, things have naturally cooled off and in the past week we've averaged $178/day. We're not worried about this. Things are more stable now than in those chaotic first days, but it's still early enough to create foundational parts of the server experience. Now's a great time to get in. A few things worth checking out if you are getting started:
- ItsMyConvert - The most complete schematic converter created by Theo that lets you convert builds from Minecraft to Hytale in just a few clicks, already being used by creators like BreadBuilds and PixelMine. Schematics under 5 million blocks are free to convert.
- CurseForge Modding Competition - CurseForge is running a Hytale modding competition with a $100k prize pool. If you're already creating for Hytale, definitely worth a look.
- Hytale Modding Discord - The main community hub for Hytale modders. Worth joining if you're getting into Hytale creation.
Featured ad system rolling out next week
Our new experimental ads system has been working really well in Roblox since we released it last week! We're going to be rolling it out across all categories on April 7th. If you've been running ads before, it's worth reading up on how the new system works so you're ready for the switch.Click here to read the Featured resource ads documentation →
Garry's Mod is now open for everyone
We've removed the invite requirement for our Garry's Mod categories. Growth has been steady since we launched last year and we've got a much better understanding of how to support this community, so we're ready to open the doors. If you've been thinking about publishing Garry's Mod content, now's the time.API updates
We're working on V2 endpoints for our API to come into parity with the features we've introduced since 2023. These V2 endpoints are still being actively worked on and are subject to change, but many are live today for those with Ultimate to try out.
- posting new resource updates/versions
- fetching analytics including revenue
- subscribing to & polling for events (the same events as Webhooks/Discord actions)
