Hyforger Skyblock
I created this server because I was extremely dissatisfied with how most of the Skyblock servers were being run on Hytale. They all seemed to be either rushing through the game as quickly as possible or they were completely based on pay-to-win systems, rather than what people enjoy in terms of actual gameplay.
Instead of complaining about it, I just figured out the type of server I would have liked to create myself. The Hyforger server is based on progress from real progression (not from inflation) and is also a stable and competitive economic environment for long term players. There will be no shortcuts available to purchase that would ruin the grind. Just rewards for the amount of time you spend playing the game, your strategies, and consistency.
What Sets Hyforger Apart
Hyforger’s real progression is tied together with every grind path connecting in a way that makes sense. Everything progresses, there are no dead ends or "this will never be used again" type things.
Progression That Advances
Your cobble generator is upgraded as you progress through quests so you gain access to new ores, and better rewards for completing those ores. The game does not stagnate; you get stronger with each quest and reward you complete.
Backstory & Connected Questlines For NPCs
Each NPC has a backstory, and when you complete their quests, they open up systems, upgrades, and items that make you feel as though you earned it, rather than being given it at random.
Mobcoins, and Earnable Ranks
You grind mobs, collect Mobcoins, and purchase rewards, including earning ranks, from what you collect. There are no pay walls that block you from progressing.
Efficient Farming
The stacking entity system allows for fast and efficient farms without sacrificing performance. Water systems also allow for natural flowing mobs, which encourages creative and thoughtful farm designs.
Multiple Viable Grind Paths
You are not limited to one meta grind path, you can choose to focus on one, or learn all of the available paths.
Custom Fishing With Rare Drops, and Progression
As you upgrade your fishing rod, and your fishing gear, you can find rarer drops from fishing. Your fishing experience will improve with each item upgrade.
Upgradable Farming Tools Like Sickles, Hoes, and Watering Cans
As you upgrade your farming tools, you will become more efficient at farming. Each tool upgrade will give you an advantage over other players who do not upgrade theirs.
Dungeons, Boss Battles, and Meaningful Rewards
Not only will you be able to participate in competitive mob grinding, but you will also be able to challenge yourself in dungeons and boss battles, with the potential to win meaningful rewards.
Weekly Reward System Based On Island Ratings
Players are encouraged to create beautiful and functional islands. Top rated islands receive weekly rewards, and this pushes players to create not just profit machines, but impressive island designs.
Custom Decorative Blocks
There are many custom decorative blocks available that allow you to create something truly unique. The game's economy is structured in such a way that creativity is rewarded.
Competitive From Day One
From launch day forward, there will be leader boards, and an economy that evolves with time. Early players will have the opportunity to establish themselves as leaders in the community, and secure real advantages by grinding smart.
Non-Pay-to-Win Economy
The entire economy was structured to ensure long term sustainability. There are no inflationary spirals, nor are there shortcuts to buying rewards that would devalue the grind.
