Hytale... Minecraft On Steroids

Hypixel is the largest server in the community by tens of thousands. The entire community knows what Hypixel is and likely has played on it before.

"Will be" Oh, so you can decide that it won't be without ever playing? Nice.
"Better support" For the multiplayer community. Judging by the fact that Hypixel has supported the multiplayer community throughout their entire time in existence, and Mojang hasn't done much at all for years, I'd say it's a reasonable assumption that Hypixel could do better.
"Vast majority is using 3-year-old software" I'm talking about everyone using 1.7/1.8, which is years old. We're on 1.14 now, nearly. If you think multiplayer servers entirely are doing the bare minimum, you are absolutely wrong. Servers like Hypixel, OPCraft, etc have been revolutionizing the game for years.

Anyways, Hypixel has not been revolutionising anything. They never put out anything revolutionising? I do not even know what OPCraft is, so that says enough already (as I am daily involved with everything (Developers, Mojang) that happens around MC).. Something that revolutionises the game would definitely appear on my radar within 24 hours.

I was gonna say that. Thank you. Once again. Hypixel is not the community. Hypixel is just a Minecraft server. Hypixel doesn't even make up 50% up the Minecraft community.

However they have a large amount of backing for Hytale. I would say a large majority of the community has played Hypixel. They have a good reputation. And the advertisement they have for this project is minimal but so many people have heard about it. Why is that? Reputation, youtubers and overall people talking about it. I have seen countless tweets about this being the new minecraft, countless videos and so many people talking about it. From what i have seen so far i think it will be a really good game. But only time will tell once beta is released and we get a chance to play.

In my opinion it's too early to speculate whether or not Hytale is as good as it seems...all we saw was a short clip - fancy animation and couple of short episodes of seemingly a gameplay, for all we know an actual gameplay might turn out to be a lot different. But yes I am sure most of us will at least test the game as soon as we will get our hands on it.

I think you're right. People in the pvp community act like they live in the bubble the whole game revolves around them when you can literally go on Twitch the first couple of streams you'll see is people playing Surival and modded Minecraft. You don't see the "majority" on Hypixel which people who play Hypixel think the majority is.

Minecraft has been 'dying' (it's not dying but let's talk like all the 1.8 tinfoil hat people) because nothing new has come out. HCF is HCF. Factions are still Factions. Hypixel didn't come out with something revolutionising anymore since they quit making adventure maps.

Hypixel has created brand new gamemodes and is now making their own game, which is something "nobody has seen before". OPCraft, while not making new games, has added new features to the games that would go on to be the norm for said gamemodes. Disagree if you'd like, but both servers have done major things (Hypixel about 50x so, but OPCraft is still worth mentioning.)

Big in terms of the Pvp community because Hypixel is like the face of "Multiplayer Minecraft servers" but as far as a Minecraft killer and a game Minecraft's majority play. No. There's just something about playing Minecraft that no game can replicate.

I agree. And I never said it would kill Minecraft. I perhaps should've clarified in my first post, but what I mean is that Hytale will be better for the pvp community. It won't kill Minecraft, the building and redstone communities will likely still stay with Minecraft, but Hytale will definitely be getting a lot of Minecraft players. I'd estimate at least 10k accounts created within the first day of release (if free. If paid, definitely less).

Some Minecraft copies did get popular, like The Blockheads, Terraria, etc. This is a game made by Minecraft players, for Minecraft players, that is already known by many Minecraft players, as compared to some random copy from some random company that no one knows. No one but people who play Hypixel is gonna wake up and say hey I want to play Hytale today. Sure Hypixel has a lot of people but it's not the majority of Minecraft when you take Survival, Creative and Modding into consideration and no matter how hard other games try to copy Minecraft. You can't copy it. There's just something about Minecraft that you get when playing it. I'm not hyped for it. I really don't care about it. Is it gonna be good. Yes if we're talking for people on Hypixel but as a game everyone who play Minecraft would play? I don't think so. It looks like every other Minecraft clone that come out almost every year. Unless really big YouTubers do lets plays of playing the game and promote the shit out of it via Twitch ads, YouTube ads, Spotify ads an shit.
