In my opinion, they will likely bring there entire player base over to it, which is a large chunk of MC's player base

There will never ever be another "Minecraft".

Seems like it will be worth a try, the hype is pretty deserved because it does look epic. However I feel like it's gonna lose relevancy after a few months and it's only playerbase will be it's core active players.
