When hytale comes out, it may kill minecraft. Basically, Mick should add some type of hytale section. No, I'm not saying remove the minecraft section, I'm saying just add a hytale section. It would probably help McMarket gain another type of community. I've looked around other forums and I haven't seen any other forum do this so might aswell be the first.

There is already an official Hytale Forums that is basically a copy of McMarket so I don't think that would help seeing how the new forum is all related to Hytale and everyone will just post their stuff there.

It'd be better for them to post stuff here since a lot of scammers have already been banned on here, and a lot of those banned scammers would start scamming on the newer hytale forums

The business model has yet to be announced, I assume they are going for a buy once to play, just like Minecraft, but name reservations/account reservations aren't announced or available so anyone claiming to be selling OG Hytale information is scamming, beware.

No problem, if you want to keep up to date with it you can google Hytale, its the first thing to pop up, with blog updates appearing every week to 2 weeks.

Why are there so many disagrees? I mean, it's pretty much confirmed that Hytale is going to be big (at least at launch if they release it at the right time, if they wait too long it might not get a good launch). I see no reason not to add a Hytale section, at least once Hytale releases, if Hytale ends up being a success.

i disagreed because of the whole ‘kill minecraft’ part of that gives any sort of insight as to why others might have.

If Hytale comes out and it is somehow wildly successful, then we probably will consider adding the appropriate forum categories for it. Until then though there's nothing for us to do, it'll just depend on whether there's actually demand.
