I cant switch from 1.12.2 to 1.8

Im trying to make a new server on my vps but the multicraft will only let me make a server on 1.12.2... I have no clue how to change it to 1.8.8 (HELP)

If you're not technically inclined, it might be in your best interests to use a shared host such as BakeMyServer.com (lowkey advertise) or anything else really, that will come with a support team and easy to use panel.

Hello Callet if you would like to answer this question cause I do know how you can switch the version: Does your host allow custom Jars or do you also know how to get the 1.8 server jar as well.
