Hello,

This might just be me but i've done around 100 commissions yet I have 0 rep. It might just be the people I work with or the fact I NEVER ask for rep. Should I start asking for rep? Is it abnormal to do work for someone and then asking them to rep, in an almost demanding tone / how should I go about it? How does this go down with people who have no experience with mcm?

Thanks!

Ask for it. People will give it to you if you've done a good job[DOUBLEPOST=1619103364][/DOUBLEPOST]
should I ask my past clients or all my ones from now on?
I would ask some of the past clients so you can start building some rep. But rep honestly isn't everything

I feel you actually, it feels quite weird asking someone to boost your online ego / presence. I've done over 100+ commissions as well and only have around 35 reputation, in some situations it can be tough but you should always ask for rep, just one day it might come in handy.

Ask your past clients if they could add feedback on your profile (better way of asking for rep), I'm sure they'll be happy to do so ;)

Personally i dont ask either. You could always throw in a "If you had a good experience with me please leave a rep and or review on my thread." If asking makes you uncomfortable you can ask like that without really asking
Ye that will be better, ill do that instead. Its just really annoying because I messaged my 5 most recent clients but all of them have like 5 messages so they cant rep :/

I always send a copy and paste after I do a deal, I say something like "if you enjoyed my services feel free to leave me a vouch in any of these three ways (in my discord, thread, and rep)" normal gets good feedback would say 70% leave some sort of vouch

For me, I don't ask for a rep directly, as I find it disingenuous as if I "did this work just to get a rep". If someone feels like leaving me a rep, they can do so, and if not I'm not bent about it. I'll know that they were satisfied with my service by what they say when I complete the service/job.

Positive feedback is enough for me, I'm not looking for validation from a "reputation system". I know what I have to offer, and people are satisfied with my work. Be confident in yourself king, keep grinding. :)

Just know that these blue points ain't real rep, you don't need them for a good reputation on here.

I feel like when you properly provide a service both ways and you fulfilled the task it's only right to ask for reputation. You're proper work and transactions on this site with members shouldn't go unnoticed. So, yeah ask for it.
