So I managed to find one of my oldest ever hard drives laying around from 2008-2011. In there I found some really interesting things, and very cool old memories I forgot about.
I found subfolders for these servers for 0.30 Minecraft.
- Freebuild
- Lava Survival
- MCStorm (With DLL's)
- Plots
- Regular
Inside of Lava Survival & Freebuild I found "MCDziennyLava.exe". Version 7.2.4.0. I checked their website and it appears their latest version from 2011 was 11.1.1. So the version I have is practically ancient from 2011. Inside of MCStorm I found the MCStorm server, with the required DLL's to run. When I googled MCStorm all I could find was server networks named after this, but I couldn't find a download anywhere. It's like I never even existed on google!
Lastly, in Plots, I found CraftBukkit 1.0.1-R1 from 2011. It had some plugins in the folder from 2011 as well! ChestShop, Essentials, IConomy, WorldEdit & WorldGuard. Man these are OLDDD.
It was a good trip down memory lane, my old ranks, old server chat logs still exist.
Would these be worth uploading in 2021? Even historically? Especially seeing that MCStorm specifically has vanished from the internet. They appear to work, however I do not know how to connect to these servers using the Minecraft launcher 0.30 version as authentication has changed.
Let me know what you guys think I should do with these files.
