I got a fishy call

So someone called me and said this:

Caller: Hello, is this <My First Name>.

Me: Who is this?

Caller: Hello there we are enquiring about the domain name ribiron.us.
(Guessing he said Reberion.us as thats one of my domains)

Me: Um, Who is this?

Caller: *Hangs Up*


Their number was a landline - 020 8089 8407

Could someone do some digging on it please, ion know if its legit or not.

Yes, i am the og owner, i rented it out to my friend to a little, he got a few copyright infringements with the domain so it might be that.

Well, if it was legit, they wouldn't have hung up. Most of the time, you can tell if they scam because they might have long pauses between conversations, fake name (usually the giveaway), and if you hear background sound. Real companies will invest in a better headset so people can't hear what's going on from the caller's side.

The number is from India which isn't a giveaway. It's a fairly new number and already reported as a spam caller. I don't recommend answering if they call back.
