You can host a lot of discord bots on it. I host a few node.js bots I make on my own VPS. It really depends on the size of the bot, and how many guilds it's connected to. A simple chatbot that's in a few guilds shouldn't use that much RAM at all.
A simple OVH cloud VPS is around 4$ per month, so you should go below that probably.
EDIT: Don't host botnet consoles on a VPS that isn't offshore...
