I have a question about ALT accounts.

I have a really newbie question for ALT accounts. How often do they get removed by Mojang? What if I want to main one because I sniped a good name?

The reason of me asking is because - I bought a semi OG account from somebody a few months ago. I haven't logged into it for maybe a few weeks previously and realised I couldn't. Proceeded to email Mojang and apparently they needed me to verify me as its owner via TID. I assume and I'm pretty sure that the account is already removed/disabled.

Yeah.. Pretty sure my last one was an unmigrated fully access account. I bought it for $6 USD. Owner said he bought it off an alt website. I had full access to everything anyways, emails, security questions, etc.

Sounds like the user pulled the account... that isn't because Mojang " disables accounts ", it sounds like you were scammed.

He must have had TID or original gift code. He was likely bluffing when he said he didn't have, when in reality he did, which is why it ended up getting pulled (he requested using TID/gift code).
