Hello,
I have an idea. I am thinking of buying a server, maybe with 1GB of RAM from a host that uses multicraft as a control panel.
I have realised that plugin developers need to test their plugins out, this is why i was thinking of renting a minecraft server and renting out the time on it. Using a control panel like multicraft as you can create sub users, i could create a sub user for each of the people who rent time on the server to let them access the panel and edit/delete files without them actually messing with the server (as they won't have full permissions).
I understand that people can start up a server at home and do it themselves so I am thinking otherwise about my idea. Would this be useful to anyone or would people just be setting up a server at home instead.
I have found a 1GB server for about $3.00 a month and worked out that its under $0.01 an hour cost for each hour of that month. I was thinking of charging $0.05 for an hour on a weekday and $0.10 at the weekend.
Is this idea worthy or pointless. How many of you would find it useful.
Thanks
(If you find my idea blatantly stupid, then please don't criticise me, im just doing some market research.)
