Today, I lost my company.
Cal and I have worked on Avast for about two years now, and unfortunately, David Ross now owns it.
Okay, I’m kidding, but it’s a funny story. A guy named Videogames2k joined Avast and mass messaged our users to join the ‘new Avast’. A replica of our Discord, which wasn’t even using our (amazing) Cambridge System, it used Tickety.
Anywho, of course, copyright infringement is a no-no when you’re using our logos and what not. So, I contacted Videogames, who seems to be blindly following ‘David Ross’
Videogames believed David Ross(‘Server.pro COO’) because he offered him a server.pro server (they’re free anyways lol?). David Ross came up with the excuse that his Discord was terminated, but he was the real owner of Avast, and Videogames blindly followed it.
It’s a bit funny how obvious the guy was lying, from claiming he owned Avast to being a Server.pro COO. And someone blindly followed him.
Anyways, that is what happened today. How was everyone elses day?
