Today I tell the tale of how I managed to be on the receiving end of pure good luck. It all started with a website known as bustabit. It is a gambling site for bitcoins where you bet on a certain multiplier and as long as it hits that multiplier or higher you win some money. I have used the site before and it is quite fun to play on. One of the things these sites allow you to use on them are things known as "scripts." These scripts bet strategically based on certain values you configure. It is not cheating because eventually the script will loose and it's your job to decide when to stop the script. So a friend of mine (who wishes to remain anonymous) showed this script and asked if I would want to give it a shot. I said, "Sure" and ran the script by putting in an initial $5. I didn't think much of it because it was late at night so I went to bed. When I woke up the next morning I looked at my computer and saw the value of the bits had grown to around $80. I was like "Holy sh*t and started freaking out." It was my first day of finals that day so I said, "fuck it" and left the script running throughout the whole school day. I constantly checked on my phone and saw it kept growing to $200, $300, $400, and I was freaking out, but I was also nervous as fuck because I couldn't stop the script from betting as that could only be done from home. When I got off the bus I ran home and stopped the script. The value of the BTC at that point was 500 fucking dollars. I immediately called my friend and told him, "Dude I think I want to keep this going" and relentlessly said, "NO YOU DUMB FUCKING IDIOT CASH OUT!" I reluctantly listened to his advice, but it was a good thing I did. Because less than 5 min later I saw a pattern in the game that would've broke the script and would've caused me to loose all my money.
So what did I do with my winnings you may be asking? Well, I first gave $20 to the guy who gave me the script as a Thank You and then cashed out the rest to my bitcoin wallet.
I then took $100 and put it into a bitcoin cloud-mining/investment service known as ahash.io where you gain 3.6% interest per day on your deposit (So I earn $3.60 per day for just having it sit their). I strongly recommend using them if you haven't already. It's free fucking money.
I then took the rest ($300) and converted it into dollars and had it sent to my PayPal.
And that's my story
If you want the script, too bad as it is not for sale. Also, I ran this script 2 more times with $5 on the same settings and it broke so this was truly pure luck.
