Hey, so I've been getting into YouTube recently,

I just need suggestions on what to do, and how to improve my content.
Also along with that, tell me which video you liked the most from my channel, and how I could've improved it.

Channel Link: https://www.youtube.com/c/Cyphron

I would consider this an "okay" edited gaming video.

Along with that, I find this video funniest. www.youtube.com/watch?v=I98A6scRhCU

+ I'm getting my Yeti X soon. <3

The graphics look very nice, and everything looks very clean. Overall a great channel in my opinion

I think the clips themselves flow great, but imo the resolution could be improved to have a better visual quality on youtube. For me it's just a preference because I'm not a fan of black bars. Also the music choice is a bit dated, but I guess considering the audience that is likely watching it, that'll do.

*All of these comments are about the 2-3 min video you linked

Good stuff though! I also edit videos and it's cool to see what others are doing.

What's the black bars? the ones for cinematic looks? and what's up with the resolution? all of them are 1080p expect one.

It's exported in 1080p therefore being registered by YouTube at 1080p, although it's not scaled so it has massive black bars on each side because it wasn't recorded in 16:9 AR.
In fairness, I'm talking about a PUBG Mobile video where you're limited to the recording due to the phone's screen size, but comparing it to your Fortnite videos you have no black bars because you recorded it in 16:9 format.

For me at least, the transition from 0:16 to 0:18 in the video changes from fullscreen to widescreen with horizontal black bars on the top and bottom. From then on I think every other clip also has black bars. Might just be a clunky youtube thing, but I honestly have no idea.

Those are on purpose to give it a more cinematic montage feel.
Ah okay, I wasn't sure. Since it was intentional for the purpose of giving it the cinematic montage vibe, I'd recommend using motion blur and/or zoom effects to make the middle of the screen really pop so that the viewers feel immersed and focused on the middle of the screen. Imo that would look sick

By the way, nothing more to say on your channel. Gradually your quality will improve regardless. But I do not recommend a Yeti for your microphone. Coming from someone who's owned a Blue Yeti / Snowball: they're not good microphones.

I heard good reviews about Audio Techina, and DanTDM uses it too.
But I know a lot of huge YouTubers using Blue Yeti (ones even have 3m+ subs) and use it even professionally.
Yeti is by far under my budget mic, and I only need something to block the weird fan noises, the rest I can do in the mixer.

A Yeti is a condenser microphone, and if you want to block the weird fan noises, then that's going to be a huge pain in the ass since condensers attract every possible noise in any room. Also; a Yeti X is a USB microphone... You won't be using a mixer at all. Also that's not what a mixer does.

with Mixer, I meant the recorder that I use. I currently use VoiceMod to block the weird noises, which it does very well, however it doesn't pick up the sound because the mic on my headset is very far and I have to in front of it to actually speak.

I find montages being very outdated. Especially ones where you are just killing people, Not sure how people find it enjoyable. If you don't want to talk in your video, You're gonna have to make the edits godlike, Or make them funny. And please don't use overused music like that one, I've heard it in 10000 videos at this point, But overall it's not bad, Just not something you'd expect people to watch on a new channel
