In your Essentials config on line 711. Edit this: "announce-format: 'The default message is here'"

I changed mine too: announce-format: '&6Welcome &f{DISPLAYNAME}&6 to AtomAttack! (&f{UNIQUE}&6)'

{UNIQUE} is how many players have joined.
