What if they're extraordinarily good at what they do, yet have low rep because they are new?

Fair enough, but having a high rep doesn't necessarily remove the risk of scamming, it might lower it but eh

I agree. New members on MCM may have a good rep on other sites like on YouTube, Twitter, Discord, etc. Rep doesn't necessarily mean they are good. Bots can be used leading to a prevalent amount of scams
