   • Examples include the Hito-Hito Fruit (Human) model eaten by Tony Tony Chopper and the Inu-Inu Fruit (Dog) model eaten by Inuarashi.

Eating a Devil Fruit also causes the consumer to lose the ability to swim, making them vulnerable to drowning. However, the user gains a unique ability or power related to the specific Devil Fruit they consumed. Devil Fruits are highly sought after in the world of "One Piece," and they play a significant role in the series' storyline and the powers of many characters.
