My settings are all low. I get around 260 fps in creative around 100-fps in pub games.

I had the monitor when i played minecraft.. i have enough money just want to find the cheapest way possible. So GTX 1080 will have constant 144fps?[DOUBLEPOST=1553844858][/DOUBLEPOST]In public games its not as bad but since im playing comp its getting really annoying being at 80 fps while fighting as it a hell of a difference
your fps isn't even that bad, I get 60 fps all the time and i'm a god.

Wow. My i3 has more GHZ than your i7 LMAO

Get a better graphics card, fit an 960 EVO SSD from samsung in there
Save up $350 for an i7 9700K @4.5ghz turbo i think?

Other than that yeah
ghz doesn't matter in his circumstance. anything above 2.8 is fine really and an i7 4790 should do him well even though it's 4th gen it is powerful
and that cpu requires an entirely new motherboard (since he's on the lga1150 socket and the 9700k isn't on that socket) and new ram (as the 9700k doesn't support ddr3). that included could total out to $600.... an ssd like the 960 evo on top of that is $750+. You can literally build a brand new PC that could run that 144hz monitor for $750 my guy, it's either you're insanely rich or just somewhat unaware when it comes to PCs

Buy an RTX 2060 and you're set. Make sure you have the power to support it
get a 1060 or something
Not worth due to future proofness

im buying my uncles pc for $1000. i7 9700k rtx 2080ti, corsair radiator, 960 evo ssd, 2tb hard drive, asus motherboard lol
He's asking for how to upgrade, not a brand new pc my guy. Not everyone has $1k to drop on a pc
