Am I legit the only person that hates when the first reply to any sale thread is "I suggest you give vouch copies to gain rep" especially in art threads..it's as if people don't understand how much time that takes to make. As long as you have a portfolio I feel like you should be good! I feel like vouch copies should be optional and not be pushed with replies like this. Not to mention, I see new members saying this also..like who are you to tell someone to give vouch copies to "gain rep". I don't know, I feel like this should be said even if no one agrees with me.

Yeah, I agree with you. I just feel like if people were looking to gain reputation they would give vouch copies themselves instead of having people constantly say "vc pl0x".

Its deffinately a situational argument, however I think that If you dont have 15+ reputable vouches or a portfolio you deffinately need to give out a vouch copy or two.

The most surprising thing is that I was never asked to be offered a vouch copy because i feel like the people who bought from me actually knew what it was like in the art community, to put all that time into your work then to be just given a written word. People do work for the enjoyment and the outcome. I'm sure you would rather have paypal money than a sentence that says "vouch" in it. Plus if you join this site, please realize that a lot of people don't really care for the vouches. It is just a system that higher members use so that newer or been here for like a month members can tell that this person is trusted. You're a supreme, i'd trust you more than a new member with +7, it makes sense to ask them for a vouch copy not someone who spent $25, just for a rank on the website, haha

It doesn't take much for a very reputable member who's given vouch copies to scam someone.
